This was a custom/ spec build on a remote mountain top in Western North Carolina.  This lot was situated at the end of a 1500’ long single lane road that had to be re-cut due to 25 years of neglect.  Using advanced geo-technical fabric, the road bed was lined to prevent gravel pumping into the soil and to enhance the longevity of the roadbed. The lot had been overgrown and required substantial grading to place the home appropriately to capture the 25 mile views into Tennessee.

Using pre-finished stained ceilings on the exterior porches, removed the need for substantial and time consuming maintenance. Coupled with a steam shower and privacy this was the ultimate mountain get away. This home was in the 2007 Buncombe County Parade of Homes.
